Creating and Performing Tango Music

Course content

This course will cover the styles, rhythms, and melodic structures of tango music. It will be an interactive class focusing on teaching participants the techniques needed to performan tango with live performances held in collaboration with the students. The course will also introduce the basics of arranging and composing tango music. Prerequisite for enrollment is the ability to play a musical instrument or having a good ear for music with strong vocal skills,
