Transient conduction, lumped capacitance method, 1-D transient conduction, product solutions. Boundary layers, laminar and turbulent flow, convective transfer boundary layer equations, dimensionless parameters, Reynolds analogy. External flow, empirical correlations. Internal flow correlations. Free convection.
