Energy, Water and Environmental in International Relations

Course content

This postgraduate course seeks to examine the key aspects of energy, water and environmental policies in and around the European Union. The first part of the course develops the conceptual framework for analyzing the relationships among energy, water and environment by exploring the political realist, liberal and critical approaches. In the following part, the course will deal with the development and characteristics of energy, water and environment policies in the European Union. The concluding final part of the course discusses in interactions between the energy, water and environment policies inside the European Union and its neighborhood, covering the Americas, Africa, Asia, Eurasia and Turkey.
