Course content

This course is a theoretical overview of the basic approaches, concepts and analyses in the field of political sociology. In particular this course aims to deal with the basic issues in state society relations and approaches to power relations in modern society with reference to fundamental debates in old and new political sociology. In this way, this course is designed to familiarize the students with both the classical theories of political socioloy and the new concepts and issues of the post-modern turn.
