Introduction to Turkish Literature

Course content

This course aims to provide an introductory overview of Turkish literatüre (and to a certain extent Turkish culture, history and folklore) through poetry, novel, drama, film and prose after familiarising them with the literaıy terms and concepts that are necessary to be able to understand and respond to a poem/novel/play. The translated materials provided by the instructor will be covered in the class.
