Course content

The methods of making a through measured and descriptive survey and research of a building by means of various techniques; examination of historical studies on building; evaluation of building and conservation principles at the end. This semester, course focuses on Ankara?s modern (20th century) architectural heritage. To examine the tangible and intangible values of places to understand, interpret and sustain the modern architectural heritage and lives in the spaces of Ankara through the novels, old magazines and newspapers, movie scenes, memorials etc.
